Armar’rae Hill has been spotlighted by many as being a hybrid; someone who knows music to transition from a writer, artist, producer to an executive.

The Gary, Indiana native began stretching his music horizons as a 3 year old singing and began playing the drums at the tender age of 5 years old.

Armar’rae Hill decided to move from his hometown and relocated to Bloomington Indiana to attend college, where he began to sing with The Indiana University Bloomington African American Chorale Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. James E. Mumford. Under his teachings, Armar’rae was able grab hold to several music styles from African Culture, Classical, Gospel, Contemporary Music and Soul. This inspired Hill to found the recording group True Foundation in 2003 with Indiana University students. Armar’rae Hill & True Foundation began touring with their first ever live performance opening for the award winning and national recording artist Kim Burrell.

Shortly after, Hill founded Ryder Rush Music, a full-line music production company that forced him to learn the music industry when his talents landed him credits on several national projects and the opportunity to work in an executive role with a major distrubutor. This gave him the tools and knowledge to assist and consult many recording artists on several levels. He was then inspired to start working on his first CD with his group entitled “The True Found Project,” which received raving reviews and was released independently in 2006.  Armar’rae Hill & True Foundation caught the attention of many executives that landed him to debut his second, but first national project “Breakthrough” released under eOne Music Entertainment, which the album introduced a very popular song called, “Rain,” that was widely received and peaked on radio play-lists’ nationwide.

Never stopping the vision and passion to create and present great music. Armar’rae Hill and Carl Eatmon, the President of DarMik Management Entertainment, decided to found a record label that will sign, market, promote and give artists a platform to have a global voice with the 2011 introduction of The RMG Music Group, with a distribution partnership with Bungalo & Universal Music Group Distribution.
